The trading symbol must match Zerodha's, e.g. RELIANCE on NSE, NIFTY 50 for the index, or the contract name such as CRUDEOIL26OCTFUT on MCX.

Any value from 1 to 375 minutes (375 min is one full NSE session). Daily, Weekly and Monthly are always available.

Symbol list

Load from a downloaded file

The list is public, so no Kite login is needed. The server downloads it by itself and refreshes it every morning after 08:30, so new listings and contracts appear; use Fetch to refresh it right now. Offline: download https://api.kite.trade/instruments and load the file. Options are left out of the suggestions.

Higher-timeframe candles are counted from this time, so a 60 min equity candle runs 09:15 to 10:15.
